Kathryn Bernardo finally confirms rumors of a breakup with Deej on Instagram

On her official Instagram account, Kathryn Bernardo confirmed every KathNiel fan’s biggest fear – the huge breakup. The 27-year-old Filipina actress posted a photo of her and Daniel Padilla with a caption: “Chapter closed. I hope this finally helps all of us move forward. I won’t be entertaining questions regarding this anymore. Thank you for understanding.”

In the same post, Kath put an end to the rumors while also reminiscing the good times she had with Deej in their 11 long years of being together. “It’s true that Deej and I have decided to part ways. What Deej and I had was real. It was never for show. We were together not because of the cameras, not because of the fans, not because of the money that comes with a successful love team. We were genuinely in love.”

“These are 11 years that brought me joy, adventure, and the feeling of being home…. He was my first boyfriend…. I will always have love for him…. We’ve been drifting apart for a while now, and we ultimately had to accept that we can’t go back to where we used to be….”

Kath being Kath, the famous actress also thought about what their fans would feel about the devastating news and addressed them as well. “KathNiels, we know you are hurting, and trust me, this also hurts us both more than you can imagine…. We hope you understand that this is something we really need. We hope you can join us in this healing process and not let those precious moments go to waste. Kaya natin ‘to.”

Meanwhile, Daniel Padilla also posts a heartfelt message to his “bal” on IG

The other half of the KathNiel love team, Daniel Padilla, also broke his silence on the ongoing issue. The Filipino heartthrob wrote to Kath and their fans about their split.

“Our lives may drift away, but our love will still ride that tide”.

What could be the reason behind Kath and Daniel’s breakup?

The Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla issue has been going on for quite a while. It has made headlines in several weeks and KathNiel fans were already starting to blame another controversial TV personality – Andrea Brillantes.

It’s worth remembering that earlier this month, rumors were spreading like wildfire that Daniel Padilla was reportedly secretly meeting with Brillantes. This was shared by entertainment reporter Ogie Diaz but was never confirmed. There were even rumors that Kath’s friends started unfollowing Daniel Padilla and Andrea Brillantes on Instagram, although some of the reports were later debunked by the mentioned actors/actresses.

 

Kath may have confirmed and cleared things up, however, she did not say anything about the “cheating” allegations. In her post, Bernardo said, “Our love story began with respect and ended with respect”, seemingly suggesting that the end of their relationship may not be the result of another woman (i.e. Andrea) entering their lives. The award-winning artist even went on to tell everyone that they’ve been drifting away from each other for a while, resulting in their untimely breakup.

For the last couple of years, Kath and Deej have been rumored to have broken up multiple times. They may have patched things up and worked it out in the past, but this time, that wasn’t the case anymore. Andrea also known as Blythe, may just have been dragged into this problem. Knowing about the teen actress’ predicament, it was easy to put her as the villain of the story. Regardless, Kath still has love for Daniel. She even protects their privacy and never mentions any real reason why they have fallen apart from each other. At this point, it’s time to move forward.

This started an online ruckus and Gaza fueled the fire by mentioning Andrea Brillantes. After Kath and Daniel’s announcement on IG, the self-made millionaire and alleged scammer went live on Facebook to share the biggest revelation of 2023.

At exactly 12:30 a.m. (Philippine Standard Time), Xian Gaza had everyone holding their breaths. Netizens were given what they’ve been asking for – answers. Even at midnight, Gaza’s live managed to accrue almost 500,000 viewers.

In his much-awaited revelation, Gaza explained the reason why Kath and Daniel broke up. Before he dropped the axe, he gave props to one of his sources, Ogie Diaz, whom he said was definitely telling the truth despite being previously bashed.

Gaza revealed that KathNiel already parted ways, not just recently. The rumors in the past were true, and the couple has already separated many months ago. But, not because of Andrea Brillantes.

The social media influencer pointed out that Daniel allegedly “played around” with multiple women. Eventually, Kath Bernardo got tired and called it quits. However, there was no proof and all of it were based on his anonymous sources. This is not very credible and knowing Gaza, he’s going to tweak some facts. Regardless, Kath left with respect and ended it quietly. So should everyone else.
