Cat Arambulo apologizes over ‘floatie, wakeboard’ remarks on recent flood
Cat Arambulo, a socialite and social media personality, took to social media to apologize for her now-deleted viral video talking about wakeboarding in the flood during the recent typhoon Carina.
On Instagram, Cat said she sincerely apologizes for her “insensitivity,” especially “during a time of crisis.”
“I hear you and I will use this as a learning opportunity for myself and to teach my kids to be more socially aware and active,” she said.
“I am now focusing my efforts [on] providing relief to different communities,” she added. “My prayers go out to everyone affected.”
Previously, Metro Manila, Bataan, Bulacan, Batangas, Cavite, and other neighboring cities were placed in a state of calamity during the height of Typhoon Carina.
Earlier, the number of reported fatalities in Luzon due to the typhoon has increased to 34.
