Lotlot de Leon and Nora Aunor relationship
In an exclusive heart-to-heart interview by Lotlot de Leon on his YouTube channel with seasoned showbiz writer Rommel Gonzales, he shared the status of his relationship with his mother, Nora Aunor.
According to Lotlot, they haven’t seen and talked to the mother, Nora Aunor, for a long time. But despite this, he knows that she loves him and he loves his mother as well. He said that since he was still young, he had gotten used to them not seeing each other often.
“When Ian (Ian De Leon) and I were kids, mom used to work all the time. Because he is the bread winner of the family, we all depend on him as a whole family. So, she would always say before, son, even if we don’t see each other much or talk, she said you know I love you, I’m just here.”
This is what Nora Aunor always tells him. That’s why it’s strange if you look at their relationship, he knows to himself that they love each other.
Lotlot de Leon for his adoption
It is said that the mother makes him feel the same even though he is known as her adopted child. He said he never once made him feel that he was different. If anything makes him look like this, it’s the people around him when he was young.
It is said that Lotlot will never forget when Nora Aunor confessed that he was adopted. He was only seven years old then. He said he cried when the actress did this but it was not because of anger. But because of the sadness that Nora Aunor is not his real mother.
“Mommy called me when we were still living in Valencia. And then he sat me on the sofa and then we faced the altar. He pointed to Mama Mary and then Santo Niño was there. He said son you are from there. You are not from here in my stomach like Ian, your brother, but you are from there.”
“I cried. I’m hurt because why aren’t you my mommy I love you. She was all I wanted.”
It’s not true that he doesn’t owe his mother anything
He said that he was still young and that his love for his mother was too much. It is said that it is not true that he is not indebted or ungrateful for the upbringing he gave him.
“I love her for who she is. For everything she has done for me, to my brothers. We will always be grateful and that should not be questioned by anyone.”
“Everything I am because of her and everything that is good in me is because of my parents.”
Lotlot also refuted the claims of his bashers that he did not even invite his mother to his wedding to Lebanese businessman Fadi El Soury in 2018.
“It’s impossible for me not to invite. All the special events in my life I want her to be part of it. I want her to be part of my children’s life. I want her to be there all the time. So it was impossible for me not to invite him. But I know that even if she is not there I know that she is happy for me.”
Lotlot just thinks that maybe the mother is busy that’s why she didn’t come or sometimes doesn’t answer his texts and calls. But he said it never went out of his mind.
“Sometimes I will call her up or I will text her. But I think she is also busy so sometimes she can’t even reply or answer. She knows we are always thinking about her, we are siblings.”
Even though they are far away and don’t see each other, he still loves her very much
It is said that Nora Aunor’s upbringing of her was also applied by Lotlot to his children. So even though she and her ex-husband, Ramon Christopher Gutierrez, are separated, their children do not feel that they are a broken family. Because even if they are far away or don’t get along, they can feel their love as parents.
“Whatever it is that we went through in the past we have learned to put that all aside because of the kids.”
When asked how much Lotlot loved his mother, Nora Aunor, he cried when he answered. This is what he said.
“I love him, that doesn’t change. I love him always. We’re just here.”
