Nadine Lustre Just Got a Dragon Tattoo and It's Her Biggest One Yet

Nadine Lustre just turned herself into the real life “girl with the dragon tattoo.” Spotted yesterday, January 20, at Vimana Tattoo, the actress had a majestic Chinese-style dragon etched on the right side of her back, whose body and tail extended all the way down to her arm.

Done by one of Vimana’s staple artists, Bowie Linga, the tattoo depicted an intricately-designed, serpentine dragon that kind of looks familiar to some animated film fans. Upon closer inspection, the figure was reminiscient of Haku, the dragon in the critically-acclaimed Japanese film, Spirited Away.

This certainly isn’t Nadine’s first time getting inked. She’s shared the stories behind some of her body art before, revealing that they range from meaningful song lyrics written on her wrist, to her life mantra etched on her legs. While we’re not 100% sure what this new one signifies for the actress-singer, many tattoo experts and enthusiasts state that a dragon symbolizes protection, power, and wisdom.

It wouldn’t be a surprise if this tattoo was meant to represent such ideals. After all, she’s basically the internet’s president! But whether or not she did, we can say that this ink is her biggest—and dare we say, coolest—one yet.
