Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo Admit They Were… When They First Met

Alden Richards and Kathryn Bernardo’s film “Hello, Love, Again” is finally coming to Philippine theaters next week!

In their GMA Integrated News interview with Nelson Canlas, which aired on “24 Oras,” Wednesday, KathDen admitted that they are feeling the pressure for the upcoming movie.

“Medyo mabilis lahat ng nangyari, so it’s just sinking in now, I think. And I’m pretty nervous,” Kathryn said.

Alden agreed, saying, “Actually, in all projects naman, most especially this project since this is very special to the both of us, ‘yung the pressure of, you know, kasi merong tinitingnan na benchmark from the previous film eh.”

The Sparkle star acknowledged that there’s going to be a comparison with “Hello, Love, Goodbye,” which was a blockbuster hit in 2019. Both films are directed by Cathy Garcia-Sampana.

He added that there’s also the pressure of the box office.

“But it is for the people to decide, and it’s for them to really, you know, by word of mouth, to tell if the movie is worth watching,” Alden said.

According to Kathryn, it’s comforting to know that she’s not going through this alone.

“Grabe lang siguro ‘yung sobra akong kinakabahan sa lahat, lahat ng mangyayari. So it’s just nice na feeling ko ngayon, hindi ko lang siya mag-isa hinaharap kasi kasama ko si Alden,” she said.

The two also did not confirm if there will be a third movie, but both agreed that “Hello, Love, Again” will put an end to Joy and Ethan’s journey.

“Pagpahingahin na natin sila, kasi they have been through a lot. On our point of view, maybe it’s time to say goodbye to Joy and Ethan, but what if? We can’t tell, but for us personally, parang okay na,” said Alden.
