Andrea Brillantes clearly doesn’t shy away from going the extra mile when it comes to her concert outfits. From her viral French fries costume at The Eras Tour in Tokyo to her ethereal ensemble at Coachella 2024, the Gen Z actress is a pro at putting together statement-making looks.

Naturally, for Kim Soo Hyun‘s fan meet in Manila last June 29 at the Araneta Coliseum, Andrea went full-on fangirl mode yet again. Not only did the actress sit in the front row, she was also dressed like a bride—complete with a veil and a full glam look!

Last June 29, Saturday, Korean actor Kim Soo Hyun flew out to Manila for his “Eyes on You” fan meet at the Smart Araneta Coliseum. Thousands of fans gathered to see the Queen of Tears star up close, including 21-year-old actress Andrea Brillantes.

Interestingly enough, in a crowd shot posted by Soo Hyun on his Instagram, Andrea is visibly noticeable, thanks to her eye-catching all-white look.

Styled by Cath Sobrevega, KT Landingin, and Riri Verano, featuring a glam look by makeup artist Robbie Pinera and hairstylist RJ Dela Cruz, Andrea’s look was impossible to miss. Even Kim Soo Hyun himself noticed her in the crowd and sent a finger heart her way!

Preview Exclusive: Stylist Cath Sobrevega on Andrea Brillantes’ Wedding Look at Kim Soo Hyun’s Manila Fan Meet

In a series of Instagram stories from the day of the fan meet, Andrea gave fans a glimpse of her “wedding” outfit. She was clad in white from head to toe, donning a cinched peplum blazer with a matching flowy A-line skirt.

In an interview with Preview, stylist Cath Sobrevega revealed that the actress was going for a modest and classic look. “Blythe had a crazy idea that she is the bride of Kim Soo Hyun so, of course, we had to dress [her] the part,” she explained. “Blythe’s brief was something very modest and classic because that’s what her fiancé [Kim Soo Hyun] likes [laughs].”

To bring the concept to life, Cath turned to the designs of Christian Dior during the ’50s, specifically the French luxury house’s iconic silhouette characterized by “large sweeping skirts, teeny-tiny waists, and full busts with a slightly relaxed shoulder,” she shares.

Andrea’s styling team spruced up the look with classic stud earrings, a beaded handbag, and a bouquet of dried Baby’s Breath flowers. And of course, to fully commit to the bridal-themed number, they added a white veil adorned with a bow from Filipino bridal atelier Isle, as well as an “engagement ring.”

Andrea perfectly exuded the “blushing bride” aura. “For the hair and makeup, Robbie and RJ just made it soft and romantic to enhance her natural beauty,” Cath concludes.
