Joshua Garcia refuted false claims suggesting that he had exposed his close friend, actor Daniel Padilla, and verified rumors of a third party involving Padilla and actress Andrea Brillantes.

Garcia denounced the allegations shared through a screenshot of a quote card on his X (formerly Twitter) account on Monday, Dec. 11, labeling it as “fake news.” The post featured a photo of Garcia alongside a statement implying his supposed comment on Padilla’s breakup with actress Kathryn Bernardo.

Wag divisive: Ferdie Topacio more interested in Kathniel's alleged love triangle with Andrea Brillantes

The quote insinuated, “I had advised you before to fix your relationship with Kath but you did not listen to me, and you even went on with your affair with Andrea.

This quote card seemed to be sourced from a Facebook satire page, Breaking News. As of the latest update, the post had garnered over 90,000 reactions.

On November 30, Padilla and Bernardo, who had been in a relationship since 2012, publicly announced their separation. Bernardo acknowledged the drifting apart between them in her statement.

Speculations about their breakup had circulated before their confirmation, fueled by industry insiders suggesting that Padilla had clandestine meetings with Brillantes.

As of now, neither the former couple nor Brillantes have addressed these rumors. However, fans noticed that the two actresses no longer follow each other on Instagram, adding to the intrigue surrounding the situation.
