Say it, and it will happen! Such is the mantra of Barbie Forteza, who previously *manifested* her dream to work with Kapuso A-lister Dennis Trillo, and recently made it come true in their hit series Maria Clara at Ibarra.

No wonder she is enthusiastically speaking up about her other dream actors to star with in the future, one of whom is Kapamilya leading man Joshua Garcia. In an interview with Karen Davila, she revealed that she’s a fan of the actor starting from his team-up with his ex-girlfriend Julia Barretto. “Napanood ko po siya sa ‘Vince, Kath, and James.’ Pinanood ko po ‘yun sa sinehan,” she shared.

The 25-year-old actress also shared that she’s a big movie buff, and would watch local and international movies to inspire her creative juices. “Opo, kasi po kahit paggawa ng character, kinukuha ko sa movies. I get [inspiration] from my favorite actresses or my favorite films pagka–meron akong certain role na kailangan.”

“Gusto ko sana yung medyo edgy, yung hindi predictable yung concept. Gusto ko din yung thriller. Masaya din naman yung romcom, pero napapanood na natin siya sa teleserye. So magbabayad na din yung mga tao, why not do something different?”
