But lately, collaborations and partnerships are the norm, and it’s a win for both GMA and ABS-CBN. Recently, we’ve seen the potential of Kim Chiu and Barbie Forteza’s tandem through the vlogs, and It’s Showtime! airing on GMA. But are there more paths that we hope should meet? Of course. Joshua Garcia and Ruru Madrid

When these two effective actors bring their acting chops together, we hope it’s in a psychological, action film. Both of them know how to elicit emotion that gets us beyond the screen, so it would be nice to see them as a tandem solving a crime that maybe they’re also involved in.

After their last project together under one network, isn’t it high time that they reunite for another now that they are older and wiser? Andrea and Kyline both have their bida-kontrabida backgrounds in check, and if there are two people who can give justice to multidimensional characters who we can’t help but hate and love, it’s them.

Kim Chiu and Barbie Forteza

Whether it’s a sister-centric narrative or a romantic comedy where they work together, Kim and Barbie will have us covered with feels, laughs and tears. We already had a taste of their partnership in their respective YouTube vlogs, and we do hope to see their infectious energy in either a series or film. Are our fingers crossed? For sure.

Jericho Rosales and Alden Richards

Alden and Jericho’s names have been going rounds together lately for their friendship with Kathryn Bernardo, but we have a better idea on how to put them side by side—through a project. Superhero fantasy narrative? Check. Action series? Yes. Drama romance? Done. Historical period drama? All good. With the genres that they’ve ticked off from their actor project list, Alden and Jericho’s respective versatility gives more reason for them to work together.

When Kathryn and Bianca crossed paths at a fashion show, many of their fans marveled at their joint morena beauty as they walked the runway. But besides their Filipina face cards, their skills in acting will be a delight to see in one film or movie. Till then, we can only hope that their feminine energies will vibe sooner or later.

Vice Ganda and Marian Rivera

Trust in Vice and Marian to complement each other when it comes to being naturally funny. The former has worked with Dingdong Dantes for a film. We all know, however, who can easily match the host’s natural comedic energy, and that’s Rivera. Whether it’s a film or series, we’re surely looking at a project that can possibly bring back Wenn Deramas’ comedy flavor for the present and future generations.
