Carlos is now tagged “the golden boy” because of his victorious performance at the Paris Olympics 2024. However, amid his triumph, controversies surfaced. It is because of the rift that he has with his mother Angelica Yulo, which involved his girlfriend content creator Chloe San Jose.

Angelica expressed that she dislikes Chloe for her son but she also apologized for making a comment about the girlfriend of her son.
