LOOK: Ji Chang-wook, Doh Kyung-soo in teasers for Disney’s ‘The Manipulated’
Disney+ unveiled teaser trailers on Tuesday for its upcoming action drama “The Manipulated,” featuring actors Ji Chang-wook and Doh Kyung-soo in leading roles.
The series follows Tae-jung (Chang-wook), a man wrongfully imprisoned for a heinous crime, who uncovers that his downfall was orchestrated by someone named Yo-han (Kyung-soo).
On its Instagram account, Disney+ Korea shared a teaser photo of Tae-jung seated in what appears to be a prison visiting room, alongside another image of Yo-han casting an enigmatic gaze.
Disney also released a video showcasing its upcoming Korean titles, including scenes from “The Manipulated” where Tae-jung is seen taking his mug shots and declaring, “I’m going to get out of here.”
The streamer has yet to reveal the exact release date for “The Manipulated.”
Chang-wook is best known for his roles in dramas such as “The K2,” “Lovestruck in the City,” “The Worst of Evil” and “Welcome to Samdal-ri.” Meanwhile, Kyung-soo, also known as D.O. from the K-pop group EXO, has starred in series like “It’s Okay, That’s Love,” “100 Days My Prince” and “Bad Prosecutor.”
