Andrea Brillantes  and Marian Rivera were among the celebrities who took time off their busy schedules to sing their hearts out at Olivia Rodrigo’s first concert in the Philippines, with the “Senior High” star reiterating that she didn’t use VIP treatment to enjoy the singer-songwriter’s show.

Rodrigo held her first concert in the Philippines at the Philippine Arena in Bulacan on Saturday, Oct. 5, which became a two-hour homecoming celebration for the singer-songwriter. Thousands of fans enjoyed jamming to her songs “all-american b—ch,” “bad idea right?,” “drivers license,” “deja vu,” “vampire” and “teenage dream,” among many others.

Concertgoers had the rare opportunity to enjoy the “vampire” singer’s “Silver Star show” for P1,500 with seats selected at random.

Brillantes got to see Rodrigo and the latter’s boyfriend Louis Partridge up close, and stressed on her Instagram Story that she didn’t receive any VIP treatment throughout the entirety of the show.

She also pointed out that she arrived early at the venue so that she got the first spot in the queue, seemingly in response to backlash from Rodrigo’s fans on social media.

Brillantes’ close friend and “Kadenang Ginto” star Bea Borres accompanied the Kapamilya star, and had her own share of fangirl moments as well.

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes were supportive parents to their daughter Zia – a fan of the singer-songwriter – as they captured their unica hija having the time of her life on their respective Instagram posts.

“Kung saan ka masaya, Anak, nandito lang kami para suportahan ka (Wherever you’re happy, my daughter, we’re here to support you). We love you,” Rivera wrote. “@oliviarodrigo Salamat pinasaya mo si Ate Zia (Thank you for making Ate Zia happy).”

Dantes also shared clips of Zia being an excited fangirl throughout Rodrigo’s show.

Elijah Canlas, on the other hand, dedicated the concert to his late brother, JM Canlas, who’s said to be a huge fan of Rodrigo’s music.

“Just JM and I for the Olivia Rodrigo concert tonight. JM was so obsessed with Olivia — he literally had his own corner of Olivia merch at home. He even made me watch the Disney shows she starred in,” Canlas wrote on his Instagram Story. “He made me promise to take him to an Olivia Rodrigo concert someday. Oo na, magaling na Olivia mo, JM.”

Sharlene San Pedro joked about her seat being far from Rodrigo on her X (formerly Twitter) post, although she enjoyed her time nonetheless.

Content creator and dancer Niana Guerrero jokingly referred to Rodrigo as her “cousin” in her X post.

Alexa Ilacad was also spotted lining up for Rodrigo’s show with fellow fans, as uploaded by one @secretlylei on Tiktok.

Internet personality Scarlet Snow Belo, daughter of Drs. Vicki Belo and Hayden Kho, was captured by film director Quark Henares screaming for the singer-songwriter at some point during the show.

Despite growing up in the US, Rodrigo’s Filipino heritage comes from her grandfather and great-grandfather, the latter arriving in his adopted country in his teens. The singer-songwriter also shared that she grew up on Filipino traditions and her relatives always spoke Tagalog at home.
