Actor Daniel Padilla has recently denied rumours that he has popped the question to girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo.

As reported on PEP, rumours of the couple’s engagement sparked recently, after Bernardo’s mother Min made a vague Instagram post that read, “Someone proposed” and adding the hashtags #visitjapanphilippines and #katniellovesjapan.

It is noted that Bernardo had since dismissed the rumours.

When asked about it recently, Padilla said that it was just a misunderstanding, and that the two of them still have a lot to do before taking the next step.

However, Padilla stressed that he shares Bernardo’s feelings about them being together forever.

“A proposal? Sure, not yet but maybe soon. But not for now,” he said.

Padilla said that the two of them are happy together at the moment, and sharing the same passion in their work.
