Right from the morning of the opening ceremony, there are multiple instances of security concerns in the Paris Olympics. However, none of them seemed to affect the athletes as they continued to go by their business. And the same goes for superstar LeBron James. Despite the risk involved in the rail network after the coordinated attacks on 26th June, Team USA continued to take the train route for games. Amid this situation, the superstar faced yet another concern. Nevertheless, the latest security concern isn’t as serious as a bomb threat. Notably, the tournament faced that too!

Team USA basketball has the privilege of staying in a luxury hotel instead of the Olympic Village. And they sure do make the most of it. The superstars can be seen on the streets and at games, having a chill time while they are off duty. In that lineup, King James has had the best time so far. Importantly, the officials went all the way to give him the privilege of setting up an exclusive game for the LA Lakers superstar. Well, it can be put across in that way as well.

LeBron James & his wife Savannah pulled up at the Paris Expo Porte de Versailles beneath the Eiffel Tower to witness beach volleyball. However, the officials had to suspend the game because of the sudden storm. Following that, officials evacuated the fans from the open arena and engaged in fixing the court to resume the play. While fans evacuated the arena, James and his wife put on the cagoules and waited for the storm to pass, as per Metro.

Following that, the game between American duo Taryn Kloth & Kristen Nuss and China resumed with only a few stewards, referees, and the James family in the arena. Nevertheless, it gave James the perfect opportunity to turn into a date. The couple were seen sipping wine and cheering for their country.

Ahead of the Olympics ceremony, three coordinated arson attacks on the high-speed rail service stranded over 800,000 travelers. The local reports claimed that unknown individuals committed the malicious act of disrupting the optic-fiber lines of the railway system, causing a two-hour delay. Moreover, the same report stated that most of the stranded travelers were local French people as they were prepared to leave the town for the long weekend.

While the officials may have solved the issue, it still puts the USAB in trouble because of their frequent usage of trains. Since Lebron James & Co. doesn’t stay in the Olympic Village, the team’s hotel is far away from the arena. So, it’s feasible for the team to take a 2-hour train from Paris to Lille, a day before their games.

On the other hand, following the arson attack, there was a bomb threat at the Franco-Swiss airport of Basel-Mulhouse. The officials immediately evacuated the airport. Nevertheless, officials haven’t confirmed any links between the rail attack and the bomb threat. Apart from these, hackers created a cyber threat, leaving the passengers stranded at the stations. With the amount of security concerns, is it safe for the athletes? Let us know in the comments.
