MANILA  — The Box Office Entertainment Awards given by the Guillermo Mendoza Memorial Scholarship Foundation (GMMSF) named Kathryn Bernardo and Alden Richards as Box Office King and Queen, the organizers announced on social media.

Bernardo and Richards were hailed for the box-office performance of their respective projects in 2023 — “A Very Good Girl” and “Five Breakups And A Romance.”

Meanwhile, Marian Rivera and Dingdong Dantes, who starred in Star Cinema’s 2023 Metro Manila Film Festival Movie entry “Rewind,” were named the Box Office Phenomenal Stars of Philippine Cinema.

Organizers also named Donny Pangilinan and Belle Mariano as Princes and Princess of Philippine Entertainment, while Vilma Santos and Christopher De Leon were conferred the special awards as Box Office Icon Stars of Philippine Cinema.

The awarding ceremony will take place on May 12 at Henry Lee Theater of Ateneo De Manila University.
