Nagsalita na si Atty. Raymond Fortun tungkol sa kumalat na screenshot ng kanyang social media post na may kinalaman sa pamilya ng Olympic gold medalist na si Carlos Yulo.

Ayon kay Fortun, nahack ang kanyang Facebook account noong Linggo ng gabi, Agosto 18, 2024, ng hindi kilalang indibidwal, na nagresulta sa paglabas ng impormasyon tungkol sa mga isyung kinakaharap ng pamilya Yulo.
Sa kanyang pahayag, sinabi ni Fortun na nakuha ng hacker ang access sa kanyang “sensitibong usapan” kasama ang mga miyembro ng pamilya Yulo sa Facebook Messenger.
“TO THE PUBLIC:At a little past 10:30pm of Sunday, August 18,2024, an unknown individual/s gained access to my Facebook account and was able to scroll through certain sensitive conversations I have with the Yulo family on Facebook Messenger. It is regrettable that certain facts appear to have been divulged to the public,” ani Fortun.
Dagdag pa niya, agad niyang pinalitan ang password ng kanyang Facebook account upang maiwasang maulit ang ganitong pangyayari. Kasalukuyan din daw siyang gumagawa ng mga hakbang upang matukoy ang mga responsable sa insidente. “I have reset the passwords to my Facebook account to deter similar incidents from occurring. I am also taking current steps to determine the identity/ies of the perpetrators.,” dagdag pa ni Fortun.

Sa naturang post, sinasabing matapos ang inilabas na mensahe ni Carlos na magkikita sila ng kanyang ama, hindi pa rin nagkakaroon ng pagkakataong mag-usap ang mag-ama, ayon sa kumalat na screenshot.
Si Carlos Edriel Yulo ay isang kilalang gymnast mula sa Pilipinas na nagpakitang-gilas sa mga gymnastics competitions, lalo na sa floor exercise at vault. Bata pa lamang si Yulo nang magsimula siyang mag-ensayo, at nagkaroon siya ng pagkakataong mag-aral at magsanay sa Japan, kung saan higit pang nahasa ang kanyang kakayahan. Siya ang unang Pilipino na nagwagi ng gintong medalya sa World Artistic Gymnastics Championships noong 2019.
Ngayong 2024 Paris Olympics, si Yulo rin ang naging unang gymnast at lalaking atleta mula sa Pilipinas na nag-uwi ng gintong medalya. Samantala, ibinunyag ng ina ni Carlos Yulo na si Angelica Poquiz Yulo ang kanilang alitan dahil sa kasintahan ni Carlos na si Chloe San Jose.
Sa kabila ng mga paratang na siya ang ugat ng tensyon sa pagitan ni Carlos at ng kanyang pamilya, nanatiling matatag si Chloe San Jose. Sa comment section ng kanyang post, tinanong pa niya kung bakit nawala ang video ng panayam sa ina ni Carlos at humiling ng kopya para sa kanyang reference.
