Mark Andrew Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s Father, Reacts To Post about Olympian Son
CARLOS YULO’S FATHER – Mark Andrew Yulo, through a comment, expressed his belief that his Olympic Double Gold Medalist son must apologize to his mother.
The success of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Paris Olympics brought so much pride and honor to the Philippines. Together with the bronze medal wins of Pinay boxers Nesthy Petecio and Aira Villegas, the double gold win of Caloy in gymnastics made the country the best-performing Southeast Asian nation in this year’s Olympics.

The Philippine government and several private entities were very excited to show their appreciation for the honor that Caloy brought to the country. Over P100 million cash rewards and gifts were given to Carlos Yulo for his Olympic wins.
Megaworld gifted Caloy with a three-bedroom condominium unit in McKinley Hills in Taguig. Toyota also gave Carlos a brand new Land Cruiser Prado. Which is why the Olympian said that he no longer has to buy a new car.
In fact, aside from his Toyota Land Cruiser Prado, Chery Auto also gave Carlos Yulo a brand new Tiggo 7 Pro SUV. It came with several gifts and privileges for car maintenance.
However, not only the double victory of Caloy in the Olympics hooked the attention of the public. It was also unveiled that he has a rift with his mother over money issues and his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.
According to the Olympic Double Gold Medalist, his mother spent his incentives before without informing him. He also claimed that his mother is against his relationship with his girlfriend as she allegedly judged her right away.

Angelica Yulo, the mother of Caloy, apologized to her son saying she’s just a hurting mother. For the Olympian, he has long forgiven his mother. However, it is still unclear if they have already talked personally since his homecoming in the Philippines.
