The more than one minute-long teaser, shared on the film production’s social media pages on Wednesday, Sept. 25, begins with Bernardo’s Joy flying to Canada and Richards’ Ethan – still in Hong Kong – longing for her.
It then transitions to the pair meeting at an airport but seemingly with less affection for each other. The next scene shows Bernardo ordering a coffee from a shop where Richards works.
“One hot americano for Joy,” Richards says, writing her name on the coffee cup.
“For Marie,” Bernardo then corrects him.
