Barely one week into 2023, and we already have quite the head-turning style trend in our midst. This year, fashion girls are letting it all out and ditching their pants! A trend that has the stamp of approval from gals like Bella Hadid and Kendall Jenner, the “no pants” look is the carefree solution to wondering which bottoms to pair with your looks. Risque? A bit. Undeniably cool and fresh? You bet’cha.
Locally, we’ve seen the likes of Vice Ganda and Bianca Umali give their trousers a break through their OOTDs. The latest stylista to follow suit is Kathryn Bernardo, who capped off her 2022 with a look one could describe as “bottomless.”

On her last derma day of the year, the 26-year-old made her way to the Aivee Clinic in an oversized gray blazer, a Lady Dior handbag , chunky black loafers, and no pants in sight—well, almost. A little zooming in would confirm that she does have a pair of denim cut-offs on, but the extra large fit of her shirt and blazer definitely had us doing a double take!
