It’s official: Kathryn Bernardo is now the most-followed local celebrity on Instagram!
Kathryn’s follower count reached the 20.2 million follower mark this week, surpassing fellow actress Anne Curtis‘ follower count at 20.1 million followers as of writing.
The star made headlines here and worldwide after confirming that she and her long-time partner, Daniel Padilla, had broken up after 11 years in a heartfelt Instagram post posted on November 30.
Before announcing their breakup, Kath led an eventful 2023 with her successful film return in A Very Good Girl alongside Golden Globe nominee Dolly de Leon.
She and Daniel appeared together for the first time since announcing their split at the ABS-CBN Christmas Special at the Araneta Coliseum on December 13.
It’s an incredible milestone for Kath, who began acting when she was child and grew into becoming the box office queen of her generation.
ICYDK, Anne Curtis previously held the spot with 17 million followers in 2021. Anne and Kath recently breached the 20 million follower mark just earlier this month!
