This year’s Preview Ball had a series of surprises, and among them, the much-awaited reveal of the September 2024 cover—featuring none other than blockbuster actress Kathryn Bernardo! The box office queen stunned at the nude carpet at the Marriott Grand Ballroom in Newport World Resorts, donning her interpretation of “skin tone creative formal.”

Kathryn was nothing short of stunning in a skin-baring ensemble by Mark Bumgarner, which perfectly encapsulated the authentic theme of the ball. The ensemble, styled by Kimi and Boop Yap, was strategically covered with floral motifs, with a layer of sheer mesh that showed off her sunkissed visage, with makeup courtesy of Justine Claudia del Rosario. Along with her dangling jewels, the whole look complemented her neat, slicked-back hair as styled by John Valle.

“We wanted a look that would highlight one of Kathryn’s best assets which is her skin,” said her stylists in an exclusive interview with Preview.
“Mark Bumgarner has been one of Kath’s go-to designers,” they explained. “He’s capable of showcasing Kath’s best features through his designs.”
