Kathryn Bernardo admitted that last year was so hard for her

Asia’s Superstar Kathryn Bernardo expressed gratitude to her family and her real friends who have been there for her when she went through her tough 2023.

Kathryn renewed her contract with ABS-CBN on February 2. This ended the rumors that she would transfer to another network along with the allegation that she would be handled by a different talent management company.

During the contract signing event, Kathryn was indeed treated like a queen. Her transfer to the venue was accompanied by music from an orchestra’s string section.


While walking the hallway, Kathryn Bernardo was prompted to look back to her past projects as a Kapamilya through photos from her former co-stars and people she worked with behind the camera.

When Chief Operating Officer for Broadcast of ABS-CBN Cory Vidanes gave her heartfelt message for Kath, the actress could not stop her tears from falling as she got emotional. The TV executive showed how much they value a star like Kathryn.

During the contract signing event, there was a portion when the Asia’s Superstar expressed how thankful she is for the people who have been there for her while she was going through a tough time.

“Last year was very, very hard time for me,” Kathryn said, adding that it is hard to find real friends in the industry. She said that these people simply proved that it is still possible to find good people in showbiz.

They make my life lighter, they make everything so much better,” she said. The actress stressed that until now she is smiling and excited to go to her family or to go out and hang out with her friends.
