Former senator Manny Pacquiao considers Freddie Roach not only his coach but also a member of his family.
Pacquiao took to Instagram to honor Roach on his birthday and highlight their close bond.
The American boxing trainer turned 64 on March 5.
In his social media post, the boxing icon expressed his appreciation to Roach for sharing his wisdom and guidance for the past two decades.
“Years of victories, decades of friendship. Happy Birthday to my coach, Freddie Roach! Your wisdom and guidance have been my compass. 🥊🎉” Pacquiao said on Instagram.
“Happy Birthday @freddieroach #MoreThanATeam #Family #TeamPacquiao,” he added.
Pacquiao’s birthday tribute to Roach included snapshots from their journey together since his early boxing days.
