Vice Ganda prepared a surprise for a gay impersonator of Regine Velasquez when they staged their three-night concert series titled The Songbird and The Songhorse.
From February 14, 15, and 16, Phenomenal Star and Asia’s Songbird serenaded audiences and provided plenty of laughs at the Araneta Coliseum.
During the February 14 staging of their concert, Vice Ganda surprised Anton Diva by including her in a concert number with Regine.
Vice Ganda asked his fellow stand-up comedian Anton Diva to sing “Shine” with him and Regine.
This song is significant for them because they often performed it in bars while impersonating Regine.
At one point, Anton Diva asked for water. Vice Ganda drank from the mineral water bottle before handing it to Anton Diva.
“Para tayong naglaplapan nito,” said Anton Diva as she drank from the same mineral water bottle.
“Nangyari na yun dati sa Puerto Galera,” disclosed Vice Ganda.
The It’s Showtime host then said about Anton Diva: “Dati, nung short hair, ang gwapo niya! Kamukha niya si Vic Sotto!
Vice Ganda is a co-host of ABS-CBN’s noontime show while Vic is a co-host of GMA-7’s noontime show Eat Bulaga!
The Kapamilya host continued teasing Anton Diva by saying: “Nung hinubaran ko ‘yan, nakakaloka! Yung t*t* kasing-laki ng Nagaraya!”
Anton Diva quipped, “Kaya nga ako nag-bakla kasi majiit [maliit] lang yung sa akin. Hindi nga ako nagpatuli kasi ayoko mabawasan!”
Regine laughed then commented about their jokes, “Ang dirty!”
Vice Ganda took this opportunity to thank Regine for welcoming them to their house in the past.
“Nung sobrang faney kami, nung nagsisimula kami ni Anton, binigyan kami ng chance na makapunta sa bahay niya.”
Regine asked: “Sa may Bulacan?
Vice Ganda responded by saying, “Hindi. Sa may Teacher’s Village.”
Anton “Sa kanto ng…”
Regine dared Anton Diva to complete his sentence. “Sige, sabihin mo para magpunta lahat ng tao.”
Vice Ganda then joked about the street names found in Teacher’s Village in Diliman, Quezon City.
“Matahimik. Kasunod nun, Bungangera.”

Anton said Vice Ganda is suited to the fictional street Maluwag.
“Hiyang-hiya naman ako sa maluwag ni Anton,” said Vice Ganda.
“Kaya pala isang beses, nawawala ang mic, naupuan mo pala!”
Anton retorted, “Buti nga may cord! Kung wireless yun, hindi na nailabas.”
