Vice Ganda’s star power draws 7K fans and breaks Guinness World Records

Around 6,900 Pinoys joined Vice Ganda (left) and Korina Sanchez in breaking the Guinness World Record for the largest gathering of people applying lipstick at the same time.

The Philippines once again entered the Guinness World Records this 2018.

Vice Ganda led his Filipino fans who broke the world record for the largest gathering of people applying lipstick at the same time.

A representative of Guinness announced that 6,900 people were officially counted during the attempt held at the Araneta Coliseum last September 8.

The evening became an event to empower Pinoys as the It’s Showtime host reminded fans to be comfortable in their own skin regardless of their size and shape.

“Ano mang kulay yan, ano mang hugis yan, ano mang size yan, ano mang itsura niyan, basta beautiful yan katulad ko,” said Vice, eliciting cheers from the crowd.

The event dubbed as the Vice Ganda Music Festival featured bands and musicians such as Moira dela Torre, Darren Espanto, and Yeng Constantino, among others.

Fans could enter the event as long as they bought lipstick from Vice Ganda’s brand to avail of a ticket.
