Andrea Brillantes on plastic surgery rumors: ‘Pretty since day one baby’

Kapamilya star Andrea Brillantes gave a witty response to a comment made by a netizen about getting enhancements done on her face. In a TikTok video uploaded earlier this week, the High Street actress shared old photos of herself to disprove the allegations.

This comes after Andrea topped the annual Top 100 Most Beautiful faces list by TC Candler and Independent Critics which was released last week as well.

“Baka ginawa ni doc,” a netizen commented on one of her videos.

Apart from Andrea uploading her old photos, she wrote in her caption that she has been “pretty since day one.”

“Pretty since day one baby 🥰😘 pretty with or without enchantments,” Andrea responded.

Fans of the Kapamilya Gen-Z star were quick to defend her in the comment section of her post. Some netizens added that while there is nothing wrong with getting plastic surgery, Andrea doesn’t need one.

“Me na di naniniwala na may pinagawa si Blythe sa face nya. Sobrang ganda tlg nya,” a fan commented.

“Child star ka noon.. imposible di nila nakita ang ganda mo since bata ka pa,” another fan added.

“Bakit ba hirap na hirap silang tanggapin na MAGANDA ka talaga dati palang,” a netizen shared.

This was Andrea’s second inclusion in the Top 100 Most Beautiful faces list by TC Candler and Independent Critics. She previously ranked 16th back in 2023 before rising above all in last year’s list.

Apart from her, several Kapamilya artists made the cut as well–– BINI Aiah in 88th, Belle Mariano in 52nd, Ivana Alawi in 69th, and Janine Gutierrez in 28th. Joining Andrea in the Top 10 for the 2024 list are BLACKPINK’s Jisoo, Andrea Botez, Alba Baptista, Nancy Jewel McDonie, Dasha Taran, BLACKPINK’s Rosé, Sitala, Sydney Sweeney, and Jasmine Tookes.

Andrea shared in a video how thankful she is to top the list in 2024.

“Napakalaking honor po, thank you so much sa TC Candler… This isn’t just about beauty, it is about confidence and uniqueness and embracing who you are. Sana ma-inspire kayo to celebrate your own kind of beauty,” she shared.
