Kathryn Bernardo appears to have already *unfollowed* her ex-boyfriend Daniel Padilla.
The former couple was last spotted at Robi Domingo‘s wedding last January 6, 2024—although they attended separately. KathNiel fans were happy to see them in one event. However, on January 10, 2024, fans noticed Daniel was no longer part of Kath’s following list on Instagram.
Kathryn and Daniel were still Instagram mutuals when they announced their breakup on November 30, 2023. Despite this, the actress still follows Daniel’s mother, Karla Estrada, and sister, Magui Ford.
Earlier, one of Kathryn’s closest friends, Alora Sasam, also unfollowed Daniel. Alora had also engaged in some spicy exchanges with some netizens who think that she is stirring more unnecessary controversy about her friend’s breakup.
“Alora defended her actions by saying, “If alam mo rin ang nalalaman ko po, di ito comment mo. Try mo critical thinking. Wag panghimasukan kapag wala kang nalalaman. God bless!”
These days, a celebrity Instagram following is deemed to be a significant puzzle piece about celebrity relationships. While some fans were debating on how they should feel about the news of Kathryn cutting IG ties with Daniel, some now wonder why Kathryn was not following actresses Liza Soberano, Julia Barretto, and Gillian Vicencio. This leads the internet to wonder if Kath unfollowed Liza, Julia, and Gillian.
A few months back, Gillian was tagged as the rumored third party between Kathryn and Daniel. But Gillian quickly ended the rumors and asked everyone to spare her from the controversy. ICYDK, Gillian has worked with Kath and Daniel in their teleserye 2 Good 2 Be True.
Meanwhile, as of writing, both Liza and Julia are still following Kath on Instagram. The three bonded in the past as Kapamilya stars. Liza and Kathryn also worked together in the 2013 film, Must Be…Love together with Daniel.
