In a beautiful part of New York City, a mother golden retriever and her two puppies were calmly walking across a bridge [Music] when suddenly a massive ocean wave struck and shattered the structure. Both the mother and the puppy were violently swept away by the current. The mother tried desperately to catch her puppy, but failed and was carried far downstream.

Meanwhile, the puppy managed to get stuck on a piece of wood, barking in fear until it eventually reached the shore. Tragically, the mother hit a rock while falling down the waterfall and became unconscious, drifting with the stream.  Coughing from the cold and feeling sick, the puppy started walking towards the city.

[Music] As it wandered by the roadside, an elderly woman noticed the sick puppy, took it into her home, and lovingly nursed it back to full health. Don’t be afraid. It’s all right. Come with me. You’re doing so well, Sunny. It’s okay. Margaret’s got you nice warm bath. You’re getting so fluffy and warm. Yes, you are such a good boy.

That’s it, sweet boy. Nice and slow now. You’re doing so well. The scene shifts to the mother retriever. I need emergency assistance on the hiking trail. Easy now. Let’s check her pulse right here. Hurry. Easy now. Let’s get her onto the stretcher. Okay. Okay. On three. Ready. Ready. Lift gently. Waking up in a veterinary hospital.

[Music] The doctor tried to hold her, but she escaped and frantically ran along the roads, eventually returning to the shore area where her puppy had landed. Her determined search led her to the front of the house where the elderly woman was keeping the puppy. Look at that tail go. Spotting her mother from the window, the puppy grew excited, rushed to the old woman to get the door opened, and ran out.

Goodness. What’s got into you? Do you need to go out, Sunny? You come back here this instant. You are entirely too fast. The puppy caught the mother from behind on the road, creating an emotional reunion right there. [Music] [Music] The kind old woman then took both dogs into her house, gave them food, and the mother was finally able to shower her beloved puppy with affection.

[Music] Come on, Bella. Come on, Sunny. Let’s go inside. [Music] Go on you two. Enjoy the garden. Look at them playing. Good boy, Sunny. You’re such a good mama, Bella. You two are having so much fun, aren’t you? [Music] Oh, Bella, you are such a good girl. I love you so much. Buenos das misamorees.
