YouTube content creator Darren “IShowSpeed” is reportedly all set to host a collaborative IRL livestream with legendary Filipino professional boxer Manny “PacMan” Pacquiao. This broadcast will take place in the Philippines as part of IShowSpeed’s Southeast Asia tour.

For those not familiar with Pacquiao, the 45-year-old boxer is a multi-discipline virtuoso, a former professional basketball player, and a senator of the Phillippines. However, he is most popular for his outstanding boxing career, being the only individual in boxing history to become an eight-division world champion.

IShowSpeed and Manny Pacquiao are to be in a collaborative broadcast in the Philippines.

IShowSpeed is currently holding an IRL streaming tour in Southeast Asia after a similar one in Europe became wildly successful. With him having covered multiple countries in the West—including Italy, Poland, and Germany—he has now shifted his attention to the East.

The announcement regarding the broadcast involving IShowSpeed and Manny Pacquiao was made by @SpeedUpdates1, a well-known page on X reporting on the streamer’s content. The broadcast with Pacquiao is set to be held on September 12, 2024, and interested viewers can tune into IShowSpeed’s YouTube channel.

The 19-year-old content creator has already spent a day in the Philippines, having arrived on September 11, 2024. His first broadcast involved him purchasing items from the street markets, taking photos and interacting with fans, riding a horse cart, and meeting with Thai-Algerian kickboxer Nabil Anane.

IShowSpeed’s time in the Philippines follows his visit to Thailand. His broadcasts from Thailand made for many entertaining and memorable moments for fans, with some of them coming at the expense of the streamer’s safety. One such incident was him crashing a tuk-tuk while learning how to drive it.

IShowSpeed inadvertently accelerated the tuk-tuk—a three-wheeled motorized vehicle usually used as a taxi in Thailand—to high speeds driving it out of his control. The tuk-tuk ended up crashing into a wall causing him to seemingly bang his head on the roof of the vehicle.
