Andrea Brillantes just achieved her “longest and most difficult dream”: building a home for her and her family! The 17-year-old star has been documenting the construction since September 2019, and on January 2, 2021, she finally shared the ~completed~ house on Instagram. Andrea revealed a terracotta orange three-story house and wrote a heartwarming message in the caption: “You were my longest (10 years) and most difficult dream to come true. You have always been at the back of my mind since I was young pushing me to work harder. I’m so happy you made it this year with everything that happened, I’m soooo happy.”
Andrea, who’s her family’s breadwinner, thanked her fans for supporting her ever since she started working as a child actress: “To my BRILLANTS! Thank you for always having my back and supporting me since Day 1! I swear I wouldn’t have come this far without you all.”
In a 2019 interview on Magandang Buhay, Andrea revealed that her family never had a house to call their own while she grew up, so she made it her big goal to have one built for them: “Dati pa lang po nung nage-extra-extra pa ako, pangarap ko na talagang magkabahay. Wala din po kasi talaga kaming sariling bahay po. Lagi lang po kaming nagre-rent.”
Andrea’s home has three floors and six and will be occupied by her, her grandmother, mom, and siblings. But the whole third-floor will is reserved just for Andrea! “Kasi ‘yon po talaga yung dream ko yung parang attic [na room],” she said.
So, so proud of you, Andrea! Congrats on the new home.
