Motoring host James Deakin has reached out to politiko scion Kris Aquino and apologized for dragging her into the controversial video with former Senator Bongbong Marcos.
Kris accepted his apology and shared screenshots of their text exchange on Instagram.
After getting flak for his stint with Marcos, Deakin recently posted a video with Kris supposedly to show the public that he was impartial to local politics. Kris blew her top after Deakin used her as a shield in the Marcos.
James told Kris that he was wrong to post his video with Kris just to dispel the public notion about his alleged endorsement of Bongbong.
“I see in hindsight how I shouldn’t have gone there and for that I am truly sorry. You’ve been nothing but gracious with me. And you don’t deserve to be dragged into this mess. I do hope you can accept my apology,” James texted Kris.
Kris texted back: “No hard feelings. Apology accepted.”
