On Sunday, May 26, at the Fiesta Pavilion at the Manila Hotel, Kathryn Bernardo was hailed as the Best Actress at the FAMAS Awards 2024 for her unforgettable performance in the dark comedy film A Very Good Girl.

Receiving her trophy, the actress had the most heartwarming acceptance speech. “Nung tinanggap ko ang pelikulang ‘A Very Good Girl’, hindi naman po ako nag-expect ng any awards or nominations. Tinanggap ko tong proyektong ito dahil naniwala po ako sa materyal at nagtiwala ako sa mga kasama ko. Siguro umaapaw lang po yung saya kasi nabigyan ako ng pagkakataon na makagawa ng ganitong klaseng pelikula at minahal at sinuportahan siya ng mga tao. This movie, A Very Good Girl, is a product of hardwork, love, and passion. So maraming salamat sa lahat ng sumuporta, sa lahat ng nagbigay ng oras, at sa lahat ng nagmahal sa pelikula namin,” said Kathryn.

Looking every bit like the award-winning movie star that she is, Kathryn Bernardo was an ethereal vision in Vania Romoff as she took the stage to receive her FAMAS Best Actress award. The gorgeous ivory gown features an open back and a halter neckline, with a tiered skirt cascading beautifully on the floor. Styled by Kim and Boop Yap, Kathryn punctuated her outfit with chandelier earrings and a ring from Mei Diamond Jewelry, adding that extra sparkle to her elegant evening look.
