For Heart Evangelista, creating content online is not as easy as people think.
Actress Heart Evangelista is not only a global fashion and style icon, she’s also a content creator and some of her most successful content comes in the form of Instagram Reels. But aside from being the subject of her content and having a team working with her, did you know that she’s also involved in the planning and conceptualizing the posts she makes?
In a post on her Instagram, Heart shared a part of the most recent episode of her “I AM Heart” series on her YouTube channel where she shared some of her secrets to making beautiful online content.
According to Heart, she’s “dead serious” about making her Reels, and revealed that she enjoys fashion and creating content equally. That’s why to make her content in the quality that she wants, she would plan it.
“I would already sketch a board, I grew up with filmmakers and commercial agencies, and I would always be presented with what I was gonna do through a board, a storyboard,” she said.
Heart also stressed the importance of planning the music early since the tone of the reel will depend on the music, the vibe of the brand, and what she was feeling that day. She also admitted that it would stress her if she did not plan the music as soon as possible.
“I wanted to be nostalgic, I’m 39. There are just so many music that just clicks! Like a certain memory or certain scent that I want to kind of incorporate with the Reel,” she said.
Heart added that she would plan the music “way ahead”, adding that she would plan it one or even two months in advance.

Heart has been working with celebrity photographer and videographer Edward Berthlot and the Kapuso star admitted that they have a “funny relationship.” According to the actress, they are very passionate about what they do and likened themselves to “artists on fire.”
She also admitted that they would sometimes argue because of the language barrier that they had to get their point across when planning content.
“But when I start to sketch the boards, he understood exactly what I meant and it was just like really more of the movement, how I wanted it, and the transitions,” she said.
She added, “Usually, I would just send him the board and he would know what I’d mean, right exactly what I wanted, where the music would start, exactly what time. I loved it.”
