James Reid and Nadine Lustre are currently in Greece to shoot scenes for their upcoming teleserye Till I Met You.
Photos were shared by producer Dreamscape Entertainment on their Instagram account.
In the pictures, the reel-turned-teal-life couple were seen taping scenes with JC Santos, the new third wheel to the Jadine love team.
Nadine (who is cast as Iris) wears floral rompers and eyeglasses while James (who plays Basti) wears a striped shirt, distressed maong shorts, a cap and an earring.
LGBT THEME. Today, Dreamscape also celebrated the anniversary of JaDine’s first teleserye On The Wings of Love through the use of the hashtag #UnboxingTIMY.
This coincided with a release of another teaser of Till I Met You.
It was seen in the first part of the teaser that Basti (James) offered hopia to Iris (Nadine) but she refused to take it.
In the next scene, the character of Ali (JC) is introduced. While the three are seated together, Ali stretched his arms and put it over Basti’s shoulder.
It was also shown that Basti looked awkward because of Ali’s move.
In an interview aired in Tonight With Boy Abunda last night before they left for Greece, James and Nadine confirmed that the series will have a theme geared towards the LGBT (lessbian, gay, bisexual, transgender) community.
Nadine said, “Mayroon siyang theme na LGBT.
“Super brave nitong teleserye na ito. It’s something new, it’s something very different, and it’s something na unusual dito sa atin.”
James, on the other hand, is happy about the theme of this new Kapamilya teleserye. “We’re proud to be ones who get to tackle that issue,” he said.
Till I Met You is the latest series to tackle stories about LGBT.
ABS-CBN shows that tackled LGBT issues in the past were Huwag Ka Lang Mawawala (2013), Nasaan Ka, Elisa (2011) while GMA-7 soap operas My Husband’s Lover (2013), The Rich Man’s Daughter (2015), and Destiny Rose (2015) featured this theme as well.
No airing date has been officially announced yet for Till I Met You, which is directed by Antoinette Jadaone and Andoy Ranay. However, it might replace the LizQuen series Dolce Amore which is now down to its three weeks.
