Although Marian Rivera juggles many roles as an entrepreneur and actress in film and television, one hat that she never takes off is that of being a hands-on mother to Zia and Sixto.

Despite her busy schedule, Marian makes it a point to put her children at the top of her list of priorities. She continuously strives to ensure their physical, mental, and emotional development, making sure that they are growing up as happy and healthy as possible.

During the celebration of vitamin supplement Ceelin’s 50th anniversary, Marian, who is one of its celebrity ambassadors, shared that one of the things that she and her husband Dingdong Dantes worry about when it comes to their children is how to protect them from viruses and illnesses once they go outside.

“My children go to school. They go out and interact with various people. Sometimes, their classmates come to school with a cough or cold, so it’s inevitable that they might catch it. That’s what my husband and I are always worried about,” Marian said in Filipino.

The celebrity mom shared that to protect them from the possible illnesses they might catch from their day-to-day routines, she always makes sure that her children have a balanced diet filled with nutritious food while also regularly taking their vitamin supplements.

“Alam naman natin na malaking bagay talaga ang kumakain ng masustansiyang pagkain…plus vitamins. Hindi pwedeng wala yung combo na yun,” Marian added.

According to the 39-year-old TV and film star, letting her children take their vitamins daily was already a necessity, especially when they catch a fever or any other sickness. While she acknowledges that there will be inevitable times when her children will not like the medicine they’re supposed to take when they are sick, Marian said that she tries to first make them understand what it will be for.

“Sometimes, there are instances when the medicine doesn’t taste good… so we explain to them what it’s for. Once they understand, they will surely take the medicine,” said Marian, adding that this is advice she often gives to fellow parents.

With taking vitamins being a part of her children’s daily routine, Marian said that the variety in the products that Ceelin offers makes it a more fun endeavor for them.

“Because Ceelin comes out with many products… it seems like the kids get more excited about the different options you offer them,” said Marian, noting that Sixto’s favorite is the syrup, while Zia prefers the gummies.

Apart from Marian, other celebrity moms who also joined the celebration of Ceelin’s milestone were Bianca Gonzales and Andi Manzano.

During the event, Ceelin also donated P500,000 worth of products to Caritas Philippines as it continues to help Filipino children have a happier and healthier childhood.
