Bronny James has been acquiring special treatment from his draft days to summer league games. Whether the Los Angeles Lakers team accepts it or not, it is the ultimate truth. It was proved especially when even No. 17 pick Dalton Knecht was seemingly a lackluster hero in the Lakers’ initial press conference because of LeBron James’ son. This special treatment did not sit well with one of Bronny’s Summer League teammates.

The anonymous player recently opened up, sharing his honest take on Bronny’s special treatment. According to the Daily Sun, he revealed that Bronny received advantages during the Summer League, like he was the ‘main guy.”

You could feel that there was no unity between this group of guys as Bronny was the main guy and the others didn’t feel that it was right, that he deserved that. I mean, he was treated as someone apart, not like all of us, and that is very annoying as we didn’t feel any chemistry in this group of players,” he said.

The anonymous player found this unwanted advantage toward Bronny frustrating.

“I ended up being very frustrated because I was never put in the best situation or even put in some plays or game plans because they wanted Bronny to show his skills and shine,” he added.

Brandon Jennings Praises Bronny James’ Athleticism

Bronny James had an unpopular college career, but surprisingly, he got a spot with his father’s team. Though his draft seemed controversial in many fans’ eyes, Bronny got backing from many NBA veterans. Former NBA star Brandon Jennings is the latest to emerge as the younger James fan.

The former point guard even claimed that LeBron’s son is better than Matthew Dellavedova.

He got paid for running around chasing Steph in the finals and almost died. And they lost. He ain’t the only one from that Cavs team that was trash,” he said.

After starting with a flopped performance in the first few games, Bronny’s performance showed improvement during the Lakers’ Summer League games. It remains to be seen if he can continue to show improvement in the upcoming games.
