Arlene Muhlach was among those who were caught by Barbie Forteza and David Licauco’s impressive on-screen chemistry that she thought the stars were actually real-life partners.

The actress revealed this on Wednesday’s “Fast Talk with Boy Abunda,” where she talked about her experience working with BarDa for “That Kind of Love.”

“Kinikilig ako ‘pag ginagawa nila mga eksena nila sa totoo lang. And I didn’t even know na they had their own partners,” Arlene said.

“There was this media con nga that we did, nagkamali-mali ako kaya sabi ko sorry to all your partners. I just didn’t know,” she said. “Before answering the question, sabi ko, ‘Kayo na ba?'”

She said that their co-star, Divine Aucina, corrected her.

“Ate, meron ‘yan mga partner!” Divine told Arlene.

Barbie and David flew to South Korea last year to film some scenes for the project.
