Daniel Padilla made a surprise appearance at an event held for orphans and cancer patients.
In a gift-giving event organized by the House of Treasures, the Kapamilya A-lister amazed everyone with his fun and laidback story-telling session with the kids. Together with his sisters, Magui and Carmella Ford, he spent quality time with the event honorees.
This was Daniel’s first public appearance since the news of his breakup with Kathryn Bernardo made headlines last November 30, 2023. The two officially called it quits by publishing separate IG posts, expressing their messages for each other and their fans.
The video of Daniel’s visit was uploaded by the official accounts of Star Magic, the talent agency of both Daniel and Kathryn ever since they began working together as a love team. The aforementioned talent agency, together with their home network ABS-CBN, have issued a statement covering their breakup.
“We ask everyone to respect and allow them to heal and move on. ABS-CBN management and Star Magic remain steadfast in our unwavering support for Kathryn and Daniel,” their statement read.
Daniel is set to top-bill his first-ever film with longtime friend Zanjoe Marudo in 2024. Their film, entitled Nang Mapagod Si Kamatayan, is written by National Artist for Film and Broadcast Arts Ricky Lee.
