In an interview with entertainment journalist MJ Marfori, she revealed exciting plans for a movie, TV series, and reality show. The actress promised to share a “big announcement” before the year ends.
“I can’t really speak in great detail about a lot of things but I will say I have one series, one reality show, and one movie that I am working on right now.”
When asked if that series will be filmed in the Philippines, the 26-year-old star said, “I can’t say…I can’t say it’s television or what, but yes.”
Earlier in March, Liza told Gretchen Fullido on ABS-CBN News On Cue that she will be traveling and doing some acting and fashion-related activities this year. She said that the movie project is a US-based production and will be filmed here in the Philippines.
“Sometimes this year, we’re going to start filming, and I think hopefully next year it will come out,” she said.
Liza shared her intention to feature Filipino actors in her upcoming films and hinted at a thrilling drama project. She also made the exciting announcement of starting her own production studio.
“I currently have seven projects in development, some of which I will be acting in and some of them, I am just completely at the back, producing them for other artists.”
In February, Liza made her Hollywood debut with Lisa Frankenstein as Taffy, a cheerleader with a soft spot for her socially awkward stepsister Lisa Swallows, for which she got high praise from local celebrities and international film critics.
The following month, she revealed that she is a member of the Screen Actors Guild (SAG), an American labor union, because she participated in Lisa Frankenstein.
