Kim Chiu was named the latest Tanduay Calendar Girl just a little over a week ago.
It’s been a little over a week since It’s Showtime host Kim Chiu was announced as the calendar girl of a local liquor brand and the star is letting her fans and followers see some of the behind-the-scenes of the memorable project.
In one of the more recent posts on her Instagram account, Kim posted a Reel of her being photographed in the different swimwear pieces that she wore as the current Tanduay Calendar Girl. In the caption to the post, Kim wrote that being named the Tanduay Calendar Girl was a “powerful moment” for her.

Kim Chiu was formally announced as the Tanduay Calendar Girl a little over a week ago at the Lucio Tan Jr. Center in Pasay City. Kim followed previous Tanduay Calendar Girls Kylie Verzosa, Bea Alonzo, Ivana Alawi, Ellen Adarna, Jessy Mendiola, Heart Evangelista, and Julia Barretto.
During the announcement of her Tanduay Calendar Girl status, Kim Chiu began to tear up after she was asked if she felt any apprehension about taking on the role.
“Siyempre, meron pa ring doubts. Hindi naman 100 percent confidently na yes. Siyempre, the people on social media may have a lot of comments, good, bad, and everything. Everyone’s valid with their opinions,” she shared while holding back tears. “But I’m just very happy that my supporters, my fans, who love and support me, they’ve been there with me from the beginning until now. Alam ko talaga lagi nila akong pinagtatanggol and they give me support.”

Kim Chiu’s recent announcement as the newest Tanduay Calendar Girl came after her Magpasikat 2024 win, which she celebrated on her Instagram account.
“My heart is so full of gratitude, and I find myself at a loss for words to truly express how thankful I am. This journey has been one of the most unforgettable and meaningful experiences I encountered, and it would never have been possible without each and every one of you. To my incredible team-thank you for your relentless dedication, passion, and resilience.
“Every challenge, every breakthrough was shared together, and it is those moments that made this experience so special. I am beyond grateful for the laughter, the strength, and the endless support we gave each other. Together, we created something so much bigger than any one of us–a story and a message that will live on in the hearts of those it touches,” she wrote in the post’s caption.
