Earlier this week, James Reid posted several videos of himself during a hiking trip with friends, and eagle-eyed fans spotted Nadine Lustre among them, of course! Rumors that the pair had gotten back together circulated on January 1, 2021, but James and Nadine have not commented on the news.

Although he didn’t disclose their location, James’ videos show a river with the clearest water. In another video, we see their group *basking in the sun*.

One of his companions and close friends, Jeriko Tan, also shared photos from the trip, tagging both James and Nadine.

“‘The fact that they were together welcoming 2021 with friends and exploring mother nature makes my JaDine heart so happy. MY HEART CAN’T KALMA,” a JaDine fan account shared on Twitter. Another fan gushed that hiking was a “yearly tradition” for the pair. James, Nadine, and their friends also went on a hiking trip to Mt. Ulap in Benguet in January 2020.

Of course, this isn’t the first time JaDine proved they’re still really good friends even after their breakup. They celebrated the birthday of James’ mom together in September 2020! James has also been wildly supportive of Nadine’s album, Wildest Dreams, and even collaborated on some tracks, saying in an interview: “We’d write some stuff and Nadine would come with some new lyrics, and we’d completely scrap what we wrote. Her lyrics fit perfectly into the music we’re creating because this is really her story.”
