But Fury was spotted appearing to hit the UFC heavyweight with an elbow at one point.

One fuming fan said: “Tyson Fury with the MMA moves instead.”

A second said: “No point reduction???”

Fury had been knocked down by Ngannou in round three of the ten round fight.

Ngannou stunned the Gypsy King with a left hook to the temple.

Fury fought back later on.

However, he was unable to make his experience the difference-maker as all of his attacks were rebuffed by Ngannou.

But Fury controversially kept his unbeaten record intact with a split-decision win over Ngannou.

WBC heavyweight champion praised Ngannou as a “better boxer than many thought he would be”.

He also said Ngannou was one of the toughest fights he had had in the last ten years.

The TNT Sports panel were also split on the decision after the fight, with two believing Ngannou had actually won the fight.

Fury came face to face with Oleksandr Usyk after the fight, with both declaring “let’s go” for their undisputed heavyweight fight.
