Kris Aquino reveals why she is mum about Joshua’s father

The actress says that Philip Salvador never makes any statement that hurts her feelings

Amid the latest issue concerning Kris Aquino and ex-husband James Yap, she recently responded to the question people might have been wanting to know most – why she never says anything about her eldest son’s father, Philip Salvador.

As reported on Push, that was the question one follower asked on Instagram, who wanted to know why Aquino never blasted Salvador online despite the fact that the latter also had not provided financial support for Joshua.

To that, she said that Salvador never got any money from her and Josh, and has kept a respectful distance.

She later elaborated, “He never hurt me in interviews and he thanked my family for shouldering the responsibilities for Josh. Technically he could have asked for financial help – if he proved being destitute, Josh under the law would need to give some financial aid (especially if hospitalised or evicted from a home).”

She stated that Salvador’s situation is different from Yap, whom she blasted for his “half-truths and hypocrisy”.

Aquino was recently caught in another family drama recently, when she lambasted Yap for making comments that seemed to suggest that she has been keeping their son Bimby away from him.

Her response came a day after Yap shared on Instagram a photo of him with Bimby, writing, “Happy birthday Bimb! I miss you and think about you every day. I know that we rarely had time to spend with each other, but I want you to know that I’m always here for you. I will always be your papa.”
