Angelica Yulo, Carlos Yulo’s Mother, Speaks on Issue w/ Son, His Girlfriend Chloe

CARLOS YULO’S MOTHER – Angelica Yulo was asked by the press if she has forgiven her son’s girlfriend, Chloe San Jose.

The 2024 Paris  Olympic double gold win of Carlos Yulo made a lot of Filipinos proud. There were countless messages of gratitude for the Pinoy gymnast for the pride and honor that he has brought the Philippines.

Carlos Yulo represented the Philippines in men’s floor exercise and won his first Olympic gold after scoring 15.00. It left a lot of Pinoys rejoicing — unknown that it won’t be the only win of Caloy in the  Olympics.

Caloy won his second Paris Olympic gold in men’s vault exercise. At least Php 33 million cash rewards, a condo unit from Megaworld, a house and lot in Tagaytay, and many more big rewards await for the Pinoy pride in his return to the country.

However, amid the Philippines celebrating the victories of Carlos Yulo in the 2024 Paris Olympics, his personal issues with his mother, Angelica Yulo, surfaced and went viral on social media platforms.

There are money issues between the Pinoy pride and his mother. Carlos also claimed that his mom is against his relationship with his girlfriend, Chloe San Jose. He defended his girlfriend saying she is not dependent on him financially as she has her own money.

In a press conference held on Wednesday, Angelica Yulo responded to the viral video of Carlos Yulo when he aired out his side of their issue. She apologized to her son saying that she is only a hurting and a concerned mother who looks out after her children.

Carlos Yulo’s mother also expressed her desire that the issues will be resolved within their family. According to her, the doors of their house is open if ever Caloy wants to talk to them.

During the press conference that was livestreamed by several media networks, Carlos Yulo’s mother was asked if she has forgiven Chloe San Jose, the girlfriend of her son. Angelica admitted that, currently, she is seeking for pain in her heart to be gone so forgiveness can come next.

“Masyadong malalim kasi yung pain. So, sa ngayon, yun yung pinag-pray ko na mawala yung pain,” Carlos Yulo’s mother said.

Angelica Yulo stressed that it is the best time that they all forget the issues and move forward. When asked if she can accept the girlfriend of her son, she refused to give a comment.
