Marian Rivera and Kathryn Bernardo might just be two of the most recognizable names in Filipino showbiz. So best believe, when they’re together, it’s as explosive as anyone ought to expect.
But a probably little-known fact to most? The pair is actually thick as thieves, with the two occasionally popping up at each other’s significant life events. Their connection even dates back to 2010, when Kathryn played a younger version of Marian’s character in the GMA drama series Endless Love!
To celebrate their decade-long friendship, the older actress recently shared two side-by-side photos of her and Kathryn together. Captioned “then and now,” the first featured a shot of the pair during Kathryn’s debut back in 2014, while the second was a recent photo of the two during Marian’s 38th birthday party this year. Eight years may have passed between the two snaps, but it looks like they haven’t aged a day!
This isn’t the first time the talented acting duo shared some fun flashbacks. Kathryn, who’s a self-proclaimed Marian fan herself, had previously reposted a netizen’s tweet of then-and-now photos on her Instagram stories, tagging her fellow actress.

In a more recent shot, Kathryn accompanied it with the caption, “Most beautiful girl vs. Me trying to hide my kilig face.” The former teen queen isn’t a stranger to gushing about Marian’s beauty, even once her calling “the most beautiful woman in the world”!
