Nadine Lustre, Justin của SB19 khuếch đại sự ủng hộ cho Masungi

Actress Nadine Lustre and SB19 member Justin de Dios were among the individuals that offered statements of support for Masungi Geopark Project, which is facing a potential cancellation or nullification order from the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR).

Last April 21, the organization Friends of Masungi held the Rock for Masungi solidary event in support of the Masungi Georeserve where the likes of Michael V., Joey Ayala, Noel Cabangon, Paolo Sandejas, and Keiko Necesario performed.

Lustre, recognized by Masungi as an Honorary Park Ranger and environmental advocate, gave her statements of support virtually.

The actress called the proposed cancellation of the 2017 memorandum of agreement between the DENR and Masungi “untenable and a travesty of justice” that would only benefit fraudelent claimants, landgrabbers, and those opposed to conservation efforts.

“We cannot remain passive. We must take decisive action to safeguard Masungi, a leader in global conservation efforts,” Lustre added. “Your active involvement and support are essential in this battle. Join us in the fight to preserve Masungi’s rightful place in our natural world. Together, we can secure a sustainable future.”

Also giving statements of supports were Quezon City Mayor Joy Belmonte, Pasig City Mayor Vico Sotto, Congress members Raoul Manuel and France Castro, environment content creator Celine Murillo, and model-entrepreneur Rissa Mananquil-Trillo.
