Cruz Beckham is gearing up to finally launch his music career after enlisting the help of a top songwriting team, according to a new report.

The youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham, 19, is hoping to follow in the footsteps of his Spice Girls singer mum – and according to a music insider “the results are promising”.

The teenager has reportedly collaborated with Ed Frewett, known for crafting hits for Little Mix and One Direction, and producer Fred Ball, renowned for his work with global icons like Rihanna and Beyoncé.

He has also allegedly enlisted the help of Joe Rubel, who has engineered albums for Ed Sheeran, to work on his music.

A source told The Sun: “The plan is to launch this year to let people hear what he has been working so hard on for years.

“There is a lot of excitement around him as a singer but he is also acutely aware that he really needs to prove himself so he isn’t just accused of being a nepo baby,

which is why he has spent so long perfecting the music.

“A fortune has been spent on getting him in rooms with some of the best brains in the business and the results are promising.”

News of Cruz’s impending music release comes more than a year after it was reported that he was working with another top producer, Max Wolfgang.

It was alleged that he approached Wolfgang, known for creating hits for Little Mix, Kylie Minogue and Rudimental, after hearing his work with Sam Ryder at 2022’s Eurovision Song Contest.

Around the same time, the teen signed to Tap Music management, which represents hitmakers Ellie Goulding, Dua Lipa and Leigh-Anne Pinnock.

Insiders noted at the time the fact a “well-established” company had recruited him to their books meant that he’s a genuine star in the making.
