Ang Kapitbahay’ actors on protecting Christine Bermas during intimate scenes

MANILA, Philippines — The co-actors of Christine Bermas in the Vivamax film “Ang Kapitbahay” have enumerated the good qualities of the sexy actress while working with her on the set of the movie.

“Ang Kapitbahay,” now streaming on Vivamax, is helmed by Rodante Pajemna Jr. and stars Christine, Clifford Pusing, and Chester Grecia. It tells the story of Alex (Clifford), a young man who falls for the alluring beauty of a woman, Rose (Christine), who moves in nearby.

As these two people meet, they immediately express the tension they feel for each other. After several run-ins and trysts, Alex learns that Rose is in an abusive relationship with a sadist and ruthless general. Rose then asks Alex for a huge favor, to help her extort money from the general, and then run away and live together.

Though shocked by the idea, Alex agrees to push through with the plan and helps Rose.

During the film’s press conference, Chester lauded Christine’s acting and professionalism when it comes to intimate scenes.

“Christine is someone who is knowledgeable. What I like about her is that I learned a lot from her,” Chester told The STAR. He hopes that he will get to work again with Christine someday. “She’s fun to be with and kalog. She’s funny,” he added.

Meanwhile, it was the first time that Clifford got to collaborate with Christine on an acting project. He described her as kind and very down-to-earth.

“We get along well, (also) with everyone. Even if I’m male, she would also protect us. Like for example, during briefing, we would discuss our limitations. Sinusunod ko naman yung para sa kanya (I really follow what’s good for her). And then I’m surprised na kung ano yung takpan sakin, tinatakpan talaga niya. She is really a great co-actor.”

Direk Rodante likewise cited Christine’s professionalism as an actress. “She is a great actress. May lalim siya.”

“Sobrang kulit ni Christine. She eats a lot. During breaks, she would just eat. But she maintains her sexy figure. She’s very makulit and the set lightens up when she’s around. But on screen, she becomes a different person. She has depth (in terms of acting),” he added.

Another Vivamax original movie that is currently streaming is “Private Tutor,” directed by Ryan Evangelista. The cast includes up-and-coming Vivamax artists Alessandra Cruz and Christy Imperial, together with Mark Dionisio and Vj Vera.
