Kylie Padilla is all about new beginnings this 2024—and she did it with a surprising soft launch of her new beau.

ICYDK, Kylie was earlier spotted strolling around the mall with a non-showbiz personality, that netizens thought was her *mystery man.*

Ending everyone’s curiosity, the actress was pretty chill about confirming her feelings for the guy! In a TikTok video posted on January 23, 2024, she nonchalantly and humorously described the guy’s special place in her life at the moment.

“Sino ba ‘yung kasama mo sa mall, ‘yung naka-puti (sa video)?” the TikTok user @fjtsimonthemafia, also known as Francis Simon, asked Kylie during the video.

“‘Yun ba? ‘Yun… ‘yung nagpapasaya sa puso ko,” Kylie said before laughing because of *kilig*.

Even though Kylie did not name the man, she dropped the hint that he is connected to Francis. “Parang kamukha mo nga (siya), Kuya eh,” she stated. Fans were quick enough to ~investigate~ the identity of Kylie’s new lover—and it turns out that he’s Francis’ brother!

A netizen directly asked for confirmation in the comments section, and Francis honestly answered. His brother’s name is Jinno John Simon, and he is a tattoo artist.

There’s still no sighting of her boyfriend on any of Kylie’s social media accounts. Perhaps that’s because Kylie now prefers to be private about her love life. In fact, it was in a July 2023 interview with PEP.ph that she first confirmed the happy state of her heart.

“After kasi ng everything, gusto ko na munang i-private ‘yun,” Kylie told PEP.ph.

However, in March 2023, Kylie’s ex-husband Aljur Abrenica expressed his disapproval of Kylie’s mystery boyfriend. “Gusto ko talagang malaman kung sino siya, what he’s doing sa personal na buhay niya,” Aljur stated. “I’m trying na magtanong kung sino yan. Hindi ko siya kilala, yun ang wino-worry ko ngayon. Basta sa akin, hindi siya okay, sa totoo lang,” the actor firmly stated.

Kylie and Aljur separated in 2021 and they have two sons, Axl and Alas.
