Laureen Uy miscarries 1st baby: ‘We believe God has a plan for us’

Content creator Laureen Uy ‘s update regarding her and husband Miggy Cruz’s first baby is heartbreaking .

According to Laureen, she had a miscarriage.

She shared the sad news on Instagram along with an “open letter” for her baby, Miles.

“To our baby girl Miles, from the moment we found out we were pregnant with you, Dad and I were overcome with joy. It was the best news of our lives—a love so immense and instant, it’s hard to put into words,” bungad niya sa caption.

The content creator recalled that she and her husband did everything they could to keep their child safe while he was in the womb.

“We pictured holding you in our arms, kissing your tiny hands, singing you to sleep, and exploring the world together—a family of three,” wika niya sa post.

Patuloy niya, “But then, God had other plans. The day we learned your heart had stopped beating was the day ours shattered.”

Following that, she described it as the “worst day” of her life when she found out her baby was gone.

“Even now, it feels like a nightmare I can’t wake up from. But this is our reality, and it’s a pain I never thought I’d have to bear,” sambit ni Laureen.

However, Laureen is very grateful because even for a few moments she felt like a mommy.
